Kanina sa sermon, napahapyawan samin ang Matthew 24, about The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times... habang binabasa,

end times...

End Times..

END TIMES.

Tama! End times is prophesied already and was recorded sa World's best selling book at all times - the Bible.

Eto na nga.. Habang nagbabasa ako, some realizations came to mind...

earthquakes, famines, more wars, false prophets & false christs, etc.. then immediately after these, the Son of Man will come in clouds of heaven and rapture will take its place. But no one knows when.

But that's not the main point why i wrote this.. the thing that strucked me most...

is the realization about the present Bible.

I just thought of the Bible per se. It is a record of the history right? or am i wrong. hehe, Like sa Old testament times and hanggang sa Life nad death and resurrection ni Jesus (ktatapos ng lenten season) at ng early church...

Tpos sa Bible din, prophesied ang future... ang end times as i've written above.

NOW. The realization is that i think the Bible is running til now... The missing link - the middle pages - are the lives we are living right now.. especially, for us, who call ourselves Christians.

then kanina binasa kasunod nun ang Matthew 25:31-46.

35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ 37“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Eto, para sa akin ang iniwang mensahe sa atin ng Lord. Eto ung naging buhay ni Jesus while on earth. Eto ang dapat ding gawin ng mga aka 'followers' ni Jesus. I believe, ginagawa natin to at hindi nagpapakabusy sa mga walang kabuluhang bagay... :)

Bottom point is, ang pagpapatuloy ng Banal na Kasulatan ay nangyayari sa ating panahon ngayon... Paano natin gustong maisulat ang ating buhay sa aklat na ito?
